2nd Floor of Home Office is gross. The lack of support for certain departments from their upper executives is pathetic. You should never hear from the Controller while his hands are up in the air "that we will still be discussing these same issues 5 years from now". I watched employees be extremely insubordinate to their supervisor and keep their job and switch depts. and I have watched supervisors be pushed into a corner so to speak. I expected a lot more from a company that was founded by a man who is so well known and appreciated in the local community. Unless you are in Operations or Management, there isn't much room for growth in your career.

You have to know how to play the corporate game. They only promote favorites. I had a few very lazy managers that I was constantly covering them because I take pride in my work. You do all the work, and they take all the credit in the weekly reports. if it wasn't in the report/numbers, it didn't happen. I had just gotten back from vacation, and they called me over speaker phone and let me go. He even said "we really appreciate everything you've done to help this property, but we've decided to go a different direction" I found out later one of their notoriously promiscuous travelers got knocked up, and they needed a permanent spot for her. They'll do you dirty in heartbeat. Oh and don't believe positive reviews. 90% are fake or coerced. Don't believe their apartment reviews either. Everyone posts plenty of fake ones.
