Pros
Assisting customers is the only reward
Cons
Like others, I was hired on as a Senior Technical Support Engineer. The pay is below average. I was promised a 5k bump, bonuses, and a $250 health stipend at the end on the 90 day probationary period. There is NO training. On day 2 I was expected to jump in without any knowledge of the system or customers. Owner gets easily frustrated, lies to customers, offers little if any assistance if you need it. At the end of my probationary period, I was let go without cause. There had been no warnings, no review, no critical feedback, no mention of things I need to work on, nothing to indicate my job was in jeopardy. All I got was that I did not meet business expectations. I knew of at least 3 others who had been in the role prior to me. Without realizing it I had been set up to fail. I brought in numerous business opportunities, had only positive interactions with clients, and my performance numbers were acceptable and increasing. This is not a way to treat employees who are the bread winners for their families. Do not work here unless you want to be another statistic.
