Pros
I was working on a major ISP, which enabled me to learn a lot. Most colleagues were nice people.
Cons
Completely absent management. Stress was on absurd levels, on daily basis. Low pay. More than half the people who joined left in the same year, some even without another job lined up, i guess they just couldn't take it anymore. No processes or responsibilities, and the processes that exist are very bad. Older colleagues left and most new folks don't know anything, so there was a huge drop in know-how, which adds to more stress. New colleagues take a long time to be effective since they are not given any type of training. Some colleagues are advertised as being the best there are, despite not being competent at all, just because they are in good terms with executives within the company. Management used their connections to prevent some folks from jumping to better opportunities, even on other companies. Several female co-workers were sexually harassed. Some of them were constantly solicited for sex no matter how many times they turned it down, and even received things like a buttplug. Nothing was ever done about it.
