The wages piece is tricky - true, we need to pay competitive salaries, but we're not trying to complete with the Amazons, Googles, and Microsofts of the world. One way of viewing wages is that they are one piece of the "value" pie we offer our people. Some of the others are recognition and appreciation, continuous learning, and a fun and inclusive culture. Yes, the learning curve here can be steep - MSP work is very hands-on and provides the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of technologies! We're also in the business of customer service, so you need to be able to take in information quickly and have a natural sense for how to solve problems. It sounds as if this work environment is working for you!
