Customer is always put second and never spoken about in any form of meeting, KPI's are king sent out three times a day with constant follow up, Heavy pressure on staff front and back of house to sell sell sell at all costs, being called a #fail if you don't achieve specific targets hourly, knowing the competition literally two doors down are offering the exact same devices for HALF the price and doing nothing about it other than sticking your head in the sand - Socially and commercially irresponsible.

Touting for business in public locations, the predominant part of the job, requires a thick skin and a lot of bravado. Management's main interest is minimising costs and auditing the number of hearing tests conducted - but it is totally the responsibility of the rep to find venues with high volume of potential customers. Initial training is brief and there is no follow up training or support thereafter from line manager. Salary is in line with retail sales but MTS do not get penalty rates for overtime or public holidays. Car costs are reps resonsibility even though it is a tool of trade.
