Great mission overshadowed by toxic leadership

Pros

BFP serves a great mission

Cons

The Founder/President chooses someone for no reason and makes their life miserable. Her motto is that "if you want people to work, you need to make them cry." She treats people horribly. Many people who have worked with or for BFP will tell you the same. Working here is not worth the useless drama.

Pros

The mission and rescuing animals in need.

Cons

Shannon is the epitome of an awful CEO. Constant bullying emails and drama. There is no board oversight, because the board are her friends. It's extremely toxic. If you are looking for a job in animal rescue, look elsewhere. There's no path for upward mobility, no growth, just constant harassment and negativity.
