Pros
I have a very career-driven mindset and take growth and upward mobility into consideration on a daily basis. I would not have dedicated 5+ years of my life and 80% of my young career with a company if it was not the best place that I see myself. The personal and professional growth opportunity at Betts is completely unrivaled.
Cons
The unfortunate reality of a start-up is that change is the only constant, and stability is a luxury that isn't always guaranteed. Leaders have to make the best decisions possible to keep the company afloat and moving in the right direction, especially in this state of economy. The deeper reality is that if you are not performing or adding to the growth, any company (not just Betts) cannot afford to give free handouts. Unfortunately for many companies in this time, it is those employees that feel the affect of RIFs, and they often times leave poor reviews instead of leveraging their network and past management for future employment. There are truly no cons of working for Betts - just an understanding that it is a start-up, and there are growing pains.
