Pros

So let's start with what is good about Biofourmis (Singapore) -Good rapport with my colleagues in my team (Same level) -Pay seems rather good in terms of local standards (Singapore) -Everyone working on the project tries to help one another (Some, not all) -Nice equipment to work with, Apple ecosystem all the way. -Office has amenities for staff to relax, clean, sanitary and tidy -Some supervisors/managers are good (they foster and mentor you as you begin in the company) it takes time for new staff to get used to the protocols, systems, platforms, daily meetings, and the job scope. (Depends on who your manager or supervisor is)

Cons

Now to balance the cons of this place Biofourmis (Singapore) I do not know how it is like in the Bangalore, US or other branches, but these are my cons from working with the Singapore branch of Biofourmis. -Lots and lots of meetings in a day on zoom or teams (SCRUM Concept) -SCRUM =Nice way of putting the word "Micromanagement" -Many changes to the project requirements to the point you do not know what is really happening because there are so many changes to the product. -There are so many meetings in a day, I don't know how people get their work done. -Changes made are not communicated clearly down the development and supply chain despite the high frequency of meetings -A lot of red tape especially from the developers overseas to the other branches and sometimes these changes come as a surprise to the other members of the team and it comes off as that we are supposed or expected to know what changes have been made. -Work life balance? Maybe on the surface it looks and feels that way but when you really dig in, you're in the sticks and you have to deliver, deliver, deliver. -There are no margins for error even for new staff, once you get in, its KPI all the way. -For new staff you will be expected to swim before you even learn to float, you have to be able to cope with this, if not you will find it hard because there isn't time for you to even get your feet in the doors fully. -Manners maketh the person: There have been instances where I found one supervisor or manager to be condescending to one particular staff member and very nice to another (It's very unfair) and the staff member has tried to deliver where possible and when seeking for help and advice, they were left there to handle it alone with no guidance or mentoring that was given as the staff member was rather new. (Its very sad to see this happening). -New ideas and approaches: This is dependent on who your supervisor or manager is and I can tell you not all managers and supervisors are receptive towards accepting new approaches and ideas in certain departments. -All work are dedicated to the US market: It would seem all branches are really pushing the envelope to ensure the US market gets the best of the best but this will burn out all the staff in the other branches. Everyone outside of the US is really trying to make this plane fly. But the plane is lacking a good foundation, how does the plane fly if the foundation is weak? The employees are the joints and rivots that connect and the panels are like the managers and supervisors. (Everybody needs to work together and fairly in terms of the amount of work and effort)

Pros

Pay only but don’t fall for it, you will regret it later.

Cons

Biofourmis has several drawbacks that should be considered before joining: Caution for Stable Jobs: If you have a stable job offer or are currently in a stable organization, think twice before choosing Biofourmis based solely on pay. Future regrets might outweigh short-term gains. Not for Medical/Pharma Backgrounds: Those with medical device/pharma backgrounds might find their efforts undervalued in a developer-centric culture. Layoffs tend to target non-developer roles, increasing the risk of being affected. Uncertainty and Instability: The organization's instability raises concerns about abrupt resignations, leaving employees unsure about their job security. High Turnover: A significant number of employees leave or are terminated within a year, leaving only a few staying beyond 3 years. This pattern is evident when examining past work experiences. Inconsistent Senior Management: The senior management's instability is notable – hiring followed by sudden requests to leave within a year is common. When considering Biofourmis, keep in mind these potential issues related to stability, job fit, and turnover.

Cons

- Company like to take attendance in office like school - Everyone work 16 hour cause of USA - No clear process on how to do thing. - If you do correct thing but make work for others, you will be questioned. - Company close one office after the layoff, pool table now no more, very very squeezy - HR ask my friend write review, one month later she got laid off. HR keep asking people write review - if you are someone's cousin, you can advance fast in the company
