Toxic environment with high burnout and no growth

Pros

No pros except they hire some of the smartest people in the industry, only to burn them out

Cons

Worked at many startups but none as bad as BlueCargo. They micromanage and burn you out and will say “it’s just the startup culture” but it’s not. Management is clearly inexperienced and will pin coworkers against each other, micromanage and expect you to be available at odd hours of the night (3am-4am) to do odd tasks not related to your scope of work. They will make every task seem urgent when it can clearly wait to the next business day. Will set unrealistic goals esp for the sales team and then not pay the commission. Even though it’s a startup there is no career progression unless you are favored. Basically any benefits you would get from a startup they don’t offer it. Would not recommend to anyone. There is no creative freedom. They just want someone to do as your told no questions asked. Most people don’t last more than a couple months. They will expect you to go above and beyond for the company but ignore every request or idea you have or drop you like a hot potato when they’re running out of money.. Would never recommend to anyone. Believe every negative comment written. If I could give 0 stars I would
