      Needs a lot of work

      Easy to get a position

      This is technically the worst experience I have ever had in my carrier. This place broke me and I am still experiencing the aftermath of it. The Sanford Environmental department has some worst leaders who will talk down on you and is always angry. The department lacks people who are ready to train and groom young engineers. I don't know if it is because of lack of experience.

      Got to get in with the right people

      Pros

      If you get paired with a productive project architect/manager you will be pushed and learn a lot about the field and get a lot of different experiences. My project manager/architect has taught me a lot and included me a lot in how the real world works and how to design municipal buildings that i don't have much experience in.

      Cons

      If you get stuck with Walmart projects (like I was for 6 months +) it is super monotonous and not stimulating. There is a complete lack of leadership and a lot of micromanaging in that studio with limited opportunities for growth especially as a woman.

      Pros

      The only positive I can think of was certain people there where very intelligent and the free coffee helped you get through those long work days.

      Cons

      The office was in disarray many times, the branch manager was balls to the wall with difficult deadlines to meet and also the lack of support staff means you work 12+ hour days.
