Leadership is deeply dysfunctional (CEO primarily) and is the primary reason this company struggles. The co-founders consistently demonstrate poor decision-making, lack of accountability, and an inability to communicate clearly or respectfully. Strategies change without explanation, priorities are constantly reversed, and employees are expected to absorb the fallout of leadership’s mistakes. There is a culture of blame rather than ownership. When things go wrong—as they frequently do—responsibility is pushed downward instead of addressed at the leadership level. Feedback is either ignored or quietly punished, creating a toxic environment where people are afraid to speak honestly. Morale is extremely low, burnout is common, and the high turnover is treated as normal rather than as a warning sign.
