No work life balance, teams are super lean, management only cares about earning statements not the employees. Everything is a an emergency and you are expected to respond on a seconds notice. Perception is reality

This company will do anything to burnout employees to save the bottom line! We went from having janitorial services and transport services, to doing everything in house. We were already full time, they added on for us to also transport in house, and take turns between directors to work weekends and clean the building. This was the biggest burnout I have ever had in my 20 years of being in this industry. Being with this company was the most stressful and exhausting part of working in this industry. Horrible work life balance. Management did not know how to manage but she definitely knew where to dump all the work!!! The burnout cause us to make mistakes in our services to families. This is why great workers leave!

Need to be a good at sales to make a decent income. Industry is the funeral home and cemetery sector and can be depressing and macabre. Industry is slow to embrace change.

Work life balance, like any job in the funeral industry, is abysmal.

Executives and upper management play favorites.

Management expectations is for you to get the work done no matter what, nothing else matters period the end.

Very poor communication. Managing Partner plays favorites and treats everyone else poorly. The funeral homes and the cemetery are a revolving door of employees. Organization structure is flat. Every single person reports directly to the Managing Partner which is ridiculous. He is also extremely passive-aggressive. Benefits and pay are horrible.

Upper management need to be more mentors/coaches to staff
