Pros
Want to work with people who love chess, good code, and discussion? Like corporate meetups, eliminating one of the biggest cons of remote work? Like flexible hours? I sure do, and the kind of people Chess.com attracts are unerringly passionate, interesting, and ready to build something great.
Cons
Time zone differences can be rough, on occasion.
Pros
Fully remote, flexible working hours, chess first culture
Cons
Executives are junior with management decisions
Pros

Cons
as any company , minimizing charges
Pros
Flexible working hours. Decent salary
Cons
Working at Chess.com has been a unique experience, to say the least. The company culture seems to emulate a dictatorship, with a predominant male dominance that trickles down from the top. The CEO's involvement in every aspect of the company becomes stifling, leaving little room for employees to execute their roles autonomously. The so-called mentoring programs they offer are nothing more than thinly veiled attempts to suppress individuality. The main takeaway seems to be "keep your ego aside," which translates to a thinly veiled threat to conform and abandon any semblance of personal opinions or identity. It's a workplace that rewards compliance and punishes those who dare to have a different perspective. If you're someone who thrives in an environment where being a yes-man is the key to success, then Chess.com might be the place for you. However, if you value a workplace that encourages diversity of thought and individuality, you might find yourself struggling to navigate the rigid hierarchy and oppressive culture at this company.
Pros

Cons
Exposure to Inappropriate Content. Sometimes Abusive Users.
