Pros

Medical Benefits are decent. Good 401K

Cons

Management team is in denial. They constantly sweep issues under the rug. Employees run after a few months. Management are bullies and have no respect. Company culture is a joke. Salaries, pay raises and bonuses are pathetic. They are always hiring because they can’t keep their employees.

Uh Oh

Pros

Company Leadership, from CEO on down, talk constantly about culture and its importance in how they led the company. For the most part it rang true and the employees seemed to be where the company concentrated their efforts. It did feel like a supportive environment that allowed those of us that work directly with the clients at SPAWAR to worry about them and not company requirements. It has been refreshing for sure!

Cons

The Uh Oh comes in now because a recent contract loss appears to have the owners spooked, and they may be firing all of their leadership team. It started with the CEO a couple of weeks ago, with no apparent notice to him. I think he has been with the company since the beginning and he was just gone one day. I haven't seen the owners very much over the last couple years, but all of a sudden they are everywhere and senior management has gone quiet. Seems like big changes are underway and it remains to be seen if the company can survive this event.

Not a good company if expecting salary increases.

Pros

The benefits are good. The majority of the management (including the old Capstone Corporation) aren't real personable to employees nor do they care too much if employees have issues, problems or need help.

Cons

This company is not one for pay increases, not even cost of living raises. Been working for them for a few years and not a single salary increase even with excellent yearly reviews.

Tread Very Carefully!

Pros

1) They have some good middle management that's enthusiastic and the place can seem fun for people just out of college or grad school, or the military. 2) You can make friends here, 3) The money isn't bad - but not amazingly good either 4) You'll find good people working here, but their goodness is drowned out by the hype and B.S. of having to win government contracts

Cons

1) They over-hype everything. It's more like a cult than a job. They won't accept that CSA is just a job. The only people that advance are the ones that are constantly thinking about the company 24/7/365. If you work here and don't feel that way, just be quiet do your job, and let everyone around you act that way while reminding yourself to keep your sanity. 2) There's no reward for going over and above to help the company. Just do your job and get your responsibilities done on time and you'll do fine. I helped win several government contracts and did it in my off time, and there was no reward, not even a "thank you." I should have gotten a bonus, but they didn't do it. 3) The owner, Brian K. Lebeau Sr., also known as "bickles," a play on his initials is self centered and egotistical. He grew the company from 3 people - the other two being the co-owner and first hire (now CEO). He likes when certain people call him out on talking too much, but if you're not in that circle, you get in a lot of trouble for doing so. 3) They claim that they support your continuing education, but they don't. The only offer post graduate and educational scholarships to favorites, or people they need that they fear will quit. 4) You should work here for 2 years, just long enough to show your next employer you can hold down a job

Immature Management Team

Pros

There are some great people at CSA. Good benefits and competitive compensation.

Cons

Very limited career advancement opportunities. Management is VERY immature. Management does not have quality client relations. Clients bully management and the client facing employees suffer. When employees do chose to leave they are not spoken to. No transition of work-load. It' embarrassing to have ever been associated with this company.

Comfortable Job

Pros

Management was pretty laid back and remote work was standard practice during/after COVID. I liked my coworkers and had a very good work/life balance.

Cons

It's defense contracting so salaries and growth are limited by the client and industry.
