Stay Away If you Can

Pros

I learned a lot here - How to push deadlines so that the clients stop caring - How to complete projects like a high school group just to make a demo for clients - How to 4 hours to present a 30 second demo on every instance - How to use casual racist comments - How to make sexist joke and arguments - How to waste time on team lunches - How to keep doing the same tasks with no improvement and same mistakes as before - How to make false promises about benefits to employees for more than 3 years - How to be a CEO and keep turning a blind eye to all the issues and just create a utopia

Cons

- Unsafe working environments physically and mentally - The CTO has temper issues and regularly shouts on employees for his own mistakes - Poor project management and made up deadlines just to rush things up - Lot of cash burnt on fancy gadgets just to look like a cool startup - 60% of employees have left the company in last 9 months - The whole company is dependent on the robotics chief and works on his time - Employees forced to work extra hours and weekend without any perks or overtime - If you are an engineer you will be made fun of everyday for knowing stuff and going to school. - The CTO prefers Designs concepts that are intuition based than real engineering - The tech is not reliable for operations and barely good for prototype demo

Pros

- You're not unemployed - Besides management, the people you work with are pretty good folks.

Cons

I worked here for about a month and a half as a test engineer. initially everyone seems really great until you're told that the management tends to scream at people when things dont go their way. there is literally ZERO project management, you essentially sit on the phone with engineers all day while they try to troubleshoot issues that they cant even solve. 90% of the time is spent trying to solve problems that they themselves caused. No one listens to you. I was fired from this company. The reason you ask? Well, I'd been out of town working for essentially an entire month (They were nice enough to let me have one weekend at home). As we were coming home i was told we would be traveling again for another 2 weeks (Up to a month and a half now) and worked on two paid holidays. I simply asked if id be able to have a couple days off so i could take care of some stuff in my personal life. I was sent back the offer letter i signed essentially saying too bad, you signed a thing and didn't get a definitive answer. when i tried talking to the HR lady to understand the company's policies she began being EXTREMELY passive aggressive for no reason and taking everything i said out of context. Then she tried to call me multiple times to handle it over the phone which i didn't want to do because id rather document the entire conversation via Email. Eventually about an hour later i was sent a "Separation Letter" saying i was fired for refusing to do my required duties when in reality, i hadn't denied to do anything, i just asked for some time off and they refused to even acknowledge the question directly. These people dont know how to treat employees properly and have essentially 0 humanity when being asked for some time to take care of things in your personal life. Additionally, they dont offer any kind of medical coverage. Long story short. Management sucks. ABSOLUTELY ZERO project management. If you work here and dont exactly tow the line you might as well already be fired.
