Pros

Still some amazing talent left through the companies acquisitions but they are not given the support they need to be successful. The talent needs encouragement, development and an environment that fosters confidence, drive and team work.

Cons

The company is run by a senior leadership team and board of misogynistic males. It is a very toxic place for females to work in addition to anyone who is driven to be successful. There have been pay cuts each year across the sales teams comp plans and only a blanket 4% salary pay rise for the first time in years (2021) which is much less than inflation in the UK and US. The company has a real lack of customer awareness. The client should be at the centre of every single conversation and decision but leadership, project and support teams are so far removed from the client that it’s embarrassing. Clients deserve so much better than the service they receive from CSI. Communication across the board is incredibly slow and at times non existent. Chasing up phone calls and emails for weeks is just part of the day job, incredibly frustrating. There is also no reward for good work and no consequences for dropping the ball or causing irreversible damage to a client or their business. This over time has developed into an environment that is less than mediocre and quite surprisingly it is totally acceptable to CSI to operate this way. In summary it’s actually incredibly disappointing and sad that some amazing businesses built on the foundations of hard work, team culture and customer centricity have been broken down and lost time and time over by acquisition by CSI who are still operating in 1990.

We are disappointed to receive this feedback which we don’t believe reflects the culture at CSI that we take pride in, our business has been built upon and our employees are so proud of. We are always open to any fair comments that give us insight into the employees’ experience at CSI Ltd. Throughout your employment your manager and the HR team were always present to support you with any concerns that could have been addressed. In addition, exit interviews are conducted which give you the opportunity to voice any further concerns that gets directly fed back to the Senior Leadership Team and we endeavour take action upon reasonable suggestions. We are sorry to read that your experience was that CSI was a toxic place for females to work, throughout 2021/22 we have rolled a number of initiatives to improve employee experience as a whole, part of our 2023 strategy will put a key focus on Diversity and Inclusion . Effective September 2021 the company rolled out an annual pay review cycle which will take place each September. This year we put focus on supporting our employees, with the cost of living crisis in mind, with a fixed increase based on salary brackets which was very well received. Sales team commission plans are discretionary and are reviewed each year, they are competitive and market aligned. Our company values are ‘think client’, ‘excel together’ and ‘deliver exceptionally’, each client has a dedicated Service Delivery Manager who work with them and collaborates internally with our services and support teams. Our Customer Satisfaction Scores demonstrate excellent and above industry average measures, along with our very good NPS scores. We have implemented initiatives through the business this year to improve internal communication these include monthly All Hands calls, Senior Leadership Team question channel, ‘a guest’ in team meeting programme and continuously encouraging return to the office, on a hybrid basis, to improve cross-departmental collaboration. We operate an internal recognition process to recognise contributions on a peer-to-peer basis as well as manager/Senior Leadership Team recognition. We strive to deliver exceptionally, and poor performance is addressed through the appropriate channels. We appreciate the time taken to provide feedback and are always looking to improve. We are fully committed to providing a positive experience and ensuring fair and equal treatment for all.

Pros

It’s very “interesting” working at CSI. There is a lot of work, because we are totally understaffed. Also an interesting game is guessing which of your colleagues are going to be made redundant next. Who knows? Anyone will do! There is Pizza. And table football and pool. But no team spirit. So if you want to trade your job satisfaction for tepid pizza and pool this would be an idea place to work.

Cons

Who’s next to go when management need to save some cash? Who knows? IT COULD BE YOU!
