Pros

- Loved my coworkers and my team, and loved working remotely - Company was very mindful of covid, especially being a healthcare oriented company - The culture was definitely adult and one of ownership - there's no micromanaging and there is an attitude that as long as you get your work done then it doesn't matter how many hours your butt is in the seat - Great benefits, 401k match, good vacation time policy, salary is market rate - The work was very interesting

Cons

- The leadership and management team is too out of touch. There are way too many managers, directors, senior directors, VPs, SVPs, etc at the top and so few indivudal contributors at the bottom of the pyramid actually doing the work and pulling the sled, to the point where the company hierarchy is basically an inverted pyramid shape. Yet the company continued to keep hiring senior leadership roles and refused to hire more invidual contributors, so the actual work ends up falling on sometimes a little as one or two people in the department area - Lots of people have left over the past few years, and the company never hires any new people to replace them - The company LOVES to hire new leadership that has a long background working in large software companies, rather than in similar sized startup environments, so when these leaders come in they immediately making arbitrary changes without the ability to adapt, which was confusing and frustrating for individual contributors - The company is slow to promote internally and does not do a good job of recognizing and rewarding employees who are taking on a lot of responsibility due to other people leaving

Toxic Workplace and Culture, Unfortunately

Pros

Challenging work, some colleagues are willing to help

Cons

This company used to be ProMetrics in 2019 and it was amazing. The flexibility, the CEO, and HR people were down to earth and caring. When ConcertAI or Concerto Health AI (recently changed names so check them out too) they fired 10% of the workforce overnight. I was not one of them but morale, management imposition, micromanagement, restructuring and knowledge transfers broke the very last drip of positivity and engagement among employees. Management started to become very intense. The CEO talks corporatespeak and was impersonal and unempathetic about it. I thought that becoming an "AI" company would help me grow my career and learn new skills. That couldn't be more far from the truth. The most horrible event that happened was that management made its employees train people overseas to take their work off their hands, and while they knew employees know that could cost thir jobs, they tried to give you j false hope. Imagine having to train someone else overseas knowing that the reason is to cut costs and all you worked for was taken away, and you were forced to do so.

Pros

Decent compensation but all a sham

Cons

Likely going under. Financially in trouble. They have inexperienced resources making 60-70k managing clients and accounts so that the top level can earn bonuses for 2022 before the business collapses. Scary times. Apply when capegemini or iqvia buy them.
