Pros

Access to weekly PD, but if you have clients you basically can’t join it There are some lovely supervisors, but you have to cherry-pick which ones because there are few You’ll bond with your coworkers over your misery

Cons

I have never felt so disrespected as when I worked for this company. To them, you are literally just another cog in the wheel. Working for this place affected my mental health so severely that I had to get intensive therapy that I couldn’t afford just to keep myself sane. If you speak up about your workload, management will gaslight you and say you’re just poor at time management and that working in the NDIS is hard The induction process was extremely rushed. There is little to no support even if they promise weekly supervision. Admin is virtually useless and will pass their jobs on to you. You are expected to manage admin tasks such as replying to emails, booking interpreters, and booking clients, etc while also planning for sessions and writing reports. This company is extremely dodgy with travel reimbursement. They charge clients for travel but don’t reimburse yours. When a colleague asked about this, we were told that it’s included in our salary. Extremely exploitative of new grads and international OTs who can’t say no.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're truly sorry to hear how challenging your time with us was, and especially that it had such a significant impact on your wellbeing. That's not something we ever want for any member of our team. We do appreciate you calling out some positives, including access to professional development and supportive supervisors. At the same time, it's clear that your overall experience fell well short of expectations, and we take that seriously. We are particularly concerned to hear your feedback around workload, feeling unsupported, and not feeling heard when raising concerns. This does not reflect the kind of environment we strive to create, where clinicians feel respected, supported, and able to speak openly. Your comments highlight areas where we need to continue listening, reflecting, and improving. We also recognise your concerns regarding onboarding, administrative responsibilities, and travel reimbursement. Clear communication, structured support, and fair, transparent processes are priorities for us, and it's important that these are consistently experienced across the entire team. We're actively working to strengthen how we support our clinicians, especially early-career therapists, to ensure they feel confident, well-supported, and able to manage their workload sustainably. We genuinely value feedback like yours, even when it's difficult to hear, as it helps us identify where we need to do better. If you would be open to a confidential conversation, we would welcome the opportunity to learn more from your experience. You can contact us at er@connect2care.com.au. We wish you all the best in your future career and thank you again for sharing your perspective.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for your time with us. We're glad to hear you valued the strong team environment, supportive peers, and professional development opportunities. We also appreciate your comments on KPIs and performance processes. While we aim to set clear expectations and support growth, it's important that this feels balanced and well-supported in practice. Your feedback highlights an area where we can continue to improve, particularly in ensuring regular, proactive check-ins and meaningful performance conversations. We value insights like yours as they help us refine how we support our clinicians. We wish you all the best in your future career and thank you again for your feedback.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're very sorry to hear that your experience with us was so negative. We're pleased you were able to build positive connections with colleagues, although it's concerning to hear how stressful you found the environment. Supporting our team's wellbeing is a priority for us, and we recognise the importance of continuing to strengthen this across all teams. We also want to directly address your comment regarding ethics and care. We take this very seriously. Providing ethical, person-centred support to people with disabilities is fundamental to who we are as an organisation, and we have clear clinical, professional, and governance standards in place to uphold this. We do not accept behaviour that compromises these standards, and it is therefore very concerning to hear that your experience led you to feel otherwise. Feedback like this is important, as it highlights where experiences may not align with our expectations or values, and where we must continue to improve and ensure consistency across the organisation. We appreciate you sharing your perspective and wish you all the best in your future career.
