Pros

Decent benefits. Pleasant office facility. Some hard working and good quality employees doing the best they can. Casual dress code. If you mind your own business you can get by without too much pressure. Possible to work flexible schedule if in the right situation. Fast pace and always something going on to keep more work coming in.

Cons

Leaders are immature, nasty and manipulative. The only way to succeed is to be a 'yes" person 100% and suck up to the top executives constantly. Intense expectations and unrealistic standards to work, work, work and work even more. Unprofessional, poor performers are kept and smart people are laid off or abused until the quit. Bad decisions and political people are valued more than those with brains, ethics and integrity. Practically everyone who cares about their career leaves and the rest are just waiting for their chance to do the same.

Pros

There are lots of smart people there, and the high turnover rate presents an opportunity for the ambitious.

Cons

1. Corporate culture in which the excellent are driven out, and the mediocre thrive. 2. IT people are drawn into political maelstroms for which they are ill-suited. 3. Patch-and-fix culture over the years has resulted in a convoluted and brittle IT infrastructure. 4. Complete disinterest by management in improving quality or infrastructure. 5. Way too many managerial levels thoroughly isolates corporate leaders from the results of their decisions.
