Pros

I've worked on one if the markets as well as the corporate office in Atlanta and have seen the same thing in both instances. The leadership is open and accessible, the company goes out of it's way to show that employees matter and the benefits package is remarkable. There is also a lot if advancement opportunity that extend beyond Cox Communications into other companies under the Cox Enterprises umbrella.

Cons

I think the company is a bit too eager to celebrate everything in an effort to make everyone feel comfortable.

Pros

Great benefits, great pay! Opportunity to go on company paid vacations by winning contests for being one of the best in your department for the year. If you work hard you will get to play hard!

Cons

Starting to lose that "family away from home" feel. Turn over is becoming quite high in the call center. Use to be a lot of long term employees here who were great at their jobs. Most left due to some unfair decisions, found another job that showed them more appreciation, or due to a supervisor not liking them and found any small thing they may have done, turned it into something big, just to let them go.

Pros

- The training is adapted to new & experienced people. - The trainers are very down to earth. - The fact that the company is very family oriented is huge and makes me feel I joined the right company. - The onboarding team was so helpful and talk to you like they really want you to be part of the team vs just another applicant. - They make the ambiance around you feel warm and welcoming.

Cons

- You have to write cons. - By working here you are less likely to get hit by lightning and thus less likely to become the flash.
