Pros

Nothing I can think of except brand name

Cons

Manager is strong only as an individual contributor but lacks leadership skills. This results in frequent micromanagement, unclear direction, and limited genuine support for the team. Management protects staff who engage in unethical behavior to meet KPIs, despite clear evidence in SFDC showing opportunities being shifted for personal gain. When this was raised, whistleblowers were labeled as bullies. According to the employee handbook, such behavior should warrant termination, yet no action was taken. This lack of enforcement, combined with management benefiting from sales outcomes, seriously undermines trust and fairness within the team.

Pros

- Competitive benefits - Strong brand in cybersecurity

Cons

Working at CrowdStrike as an SDR reveals a very different reality than expected. Management is often unprofessional, displaying vulgar, and biased behavior. SDR managers also operate unethically, failing to practice open communication and instead engaging in toxic behind-the-back conversations that create mistrust and division within the team. Decisions are often made emotionally rather than rationally, and there is little to no accountability. Unfortunately, HR does not take employee opinions seriously, nor do they enforce proper actions when issues are raised. The culture is also weighed down by internal politics, favoritism, and questionable integrity among some team members. There have been cases of SDRs engaging in “under-the-table” opportunities or unethical practices, yet they are protected by management due to favoritism. This further undermines morale and trust within the team. Career growth opportunities are also extremely limited. Internal promotions are rare, with a clear preference to hire externally instead of developing existing talent. Many SDRs have chosen to leave the company, some even without securing another job first, because of the poor management and toxic culture.
