Not a fake review! Terrible employer!

Pros

I had a job and made life long friends with fellow co-workers.

Cons

Data Intensity is an awful company to work for. They do not care about their employees and they compensate them with the salaries that are quite a bit lower than industry average across the board. The CEO, Phil Laforge, along with his CFO, Lou Faustini, would rather work the current employees to death rather than hire help. They are the latest in a line of leadership that has helped to run this company, that had potential, into the ground. The leadership cares more about lining the stock holders pockets than producing quality work for their customers. Every 2-3 years this company has massive layoff which cause the already over worked and under paid employees to have to cover ridiculously long and demanding shifts. To any potential employees that are thinking of becoming employed with DI… RUN! Do not look back!

Sinking Ship

Pros

Only pro is that you get to experience what it was like being on the Titanic. Company has been on a major decline for several years now and it's only getting worse.

Cons

Multiple rounds of employee layoffs this year. Company morale is awful and regional offices are nothing but rows of empty cubicles. Key customers continue to leave. Constant hiring freezes and below market salaries. Technical staff is over-worked and micro-managed. US jobs are disappearing at a rapid pace as everything is moving offshore. Constant juggling of resources between Russia and India, always looking for the cheapest labor. Customers beware that this ship is sinking fast!

Pros

I was so glad to leave. No matter what you are told it is just not true. Yet the top management always makes it sound better than it really is. If you are new to the industry you might get something good out of it. But you will need to leave in under two years to survive your career. It you have a amount of experience they will only hurt your career.

Cons

It is terrible how this organization manages to stay in business. At the top no one knows what they are doing and are not the types who to can fix that. Not like they are trying to.
