Good opportunity to grow and learn. Stable job environment. As a consultant, there is little to no overtime, and you are mostly shielded from client-side politics. Salaries can be good if the travel distance is short

Salaries for mid-level developers are relatively low. Fixed travel allowance is not always fair for consultants who have to travel more Some projects suffer from poor quality and outdated practices. The company has a very traditional software development mindset and is not always open to modern approaches. Management often lacks technical understanding and tends to rely on the opinions of only a few team members.
