Pros

I've learned more about communication and marketing at this job than i have in earning a bachelors degree. Team/Family oriented culture where you genuinely feel like everyone wants you to succeed The people that work at DialogueDirect are incredible, an opportunity to make life long friends If you have a student mentality, work hard and focus, you will be successful You actually feel like you're making a difference in the world. Work Trips are the best and so much fun!

Cons

This is a face-to-face canvassing job where you will be standing for 8 hours a day asking people for sustainable donations under any weather condition. It's amazing how terrible some people on the street are

Thank you for your feedback and review, on both the good and the bad. We are always trying to find the best description of the position, because what we do is so unique. We agree that support for our fundraiser's mental fortitude is important for us to all be successful, and we strive to improve our level of support, so thank you for the feedback on that especially. Best of luck to you as you move forward in your career.

Pros

Good if you are social and enjoy talking with others and being outside for very little money.

Cons

The business model Dialogue Direct follows is very questionable and borderline unethical. They are an organization who is seeking to obtain donations for a variety of non-profit organizations such as Save the Children and the Nature Conservancy. Please do not be mistaken – Dialogue Direct IS NOT a non-profit organization. They take a cut of your donation and use it for the gains of their company and employees. My recommendation to anyone considering donating to Dialogue Direct would be to just go to the actual non-profit websites and donate directly to the organizations that interest you. This way you can be assured the organization is getting your full donation. I think anyone working for this company should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage and trying to take a cut of donations from these valuable organizations. Plus they are kind of annoying and simply get in the way when people are trying to get from point A to B.

Pros

-Good benefits -Opportunity to lean a unique skill-set -A unique job (primarily talking to people and being outside) -Awesome, fun co-workers (at least the few that are left..)

Cons

-Don't bother if you're not committed -Paid primarily on performance so can be inconsistent -Most importantly: a sinking, depressing culture
