Pros

Friendly Colleagues. Nothing else is good.

Cons

2 weeks into Covid-19 and company start terminating staff. Only Senior Management are safe. A company without welfare and does not appreciate all its employees hard work. Do not practice of asking staff take no paid leave or force Senior Management to take pay cut. Hire and fire is what they do like in Indian. Beware about joining them.

The biggest red flag ever.

Pros

There is nothing good about the company in my opinion. Read on to find out the red flags though.

Cons

1) The working hours are really bad. Imagine receiving a 3 hr shift only. The workplace is 1 hr from your house. And you get paid $8 an hour. My supervisor kept fussing about how even though I have to come in early to set up the station, that I will not be paid for the 0.25 hr, which was $2. Imagine the stinginess and pettiness of a profit-maximising company. However, they are of course more than happy if you stay past your shift timings and my supervisor kept asking me where I am going, despite the fact that my shift ended 15 minutes ago. They will not pay you the extra $2 for your help, yet they expect you to work more hours for them. A big red flag. 2) The supervisors are trained to look at numbers. It is not their fault that they have a bad attitude towards you if you do not meet the KPI, but it just makes you feel really bad about yourself. My mental health was affected quite badly just from working 1 month at DEI. Beware. 3) There is no effort put in the stations by the HHQ. We are supposed to take photos of guests (who are willing) and then sell them the photos on their way out. However, I was positioned to face a blank wall, and I have to keep asking guests whether they want to take a photo against a blank wall. Imagine being a photography company, but 0 effort is given to set up a nice photographic spot. They really expect people to want to take photos with a blank wall and pay upwards of $20 to $30 for it. And when you are unable to get people to agree to take photos with a blank wall, the supervisor will manipulate you and make it sound like it's a competency problem. Red flag.
