Pros

We work at a subsidiary of this company in Cambridge. They try very hard to make people feel like they matter and that is very important. HR is there for you unlike most companies where they throw you under the bus for the company's good. They realize that growth is limited but work to find ways people can establish meaningful work that is important for the project mission. The environment is a plus as well. The people are kind, they try to accommodate workers with moves, work from home flexibility, ergonomic seating, etc as much as they can. There is no tolerance for mocking others or being cruel to reports or coworkers. In today's society a lack of bullying is in high demand. And there may be little games going on here and there but managers work hard to squash bad behavior and most certainly don't encourage it. I would say that the management tries to empower reports and are open to advice on their betterment as well.

Cons

Lack of tuition reimbursement. Not much ability to grow. Isolation can happen due to cubical environment.

Pros

The only pros are its a job if you need one and have no other offers on the table, pay is deposited on time, there are health benefits and 401K, and the work day schedule is very set / regular so work life balance is there... Beyond that there really aren't any...

Cons

A job at iBiz is like boat ownership the two happiest days are the day you get it and they day you get rid of it... The turnover is rather high, management severely lacks professionalism and does not care about their people. If you voice concerns to them they just label you a "sour grapes" employee and fault you for it disregard the fact that you may actually be legitimately concerned... At best iBiz is a place where you come for a year or two to gain the experience to go elsewhere because there is no future or career to be had at iBiz. At the end of the day management's only intent is to get the contract, make money off the top of you and get rid of you, all in the name of feeding a few people at the PM level and above. (But to their credit they are honest about that and will say it to you point blank) There are no promotions to be had even if slots are available they will just hire from outside ahead of you. Also while they claim to offer monetary assistance with tuition and certifications the terms are so restrictive only one or two people have ever been able to use it; but then again better to not use it, rather than owe them the time. The funniest part is how management attempts to cover for all of this by throwing parties twice a year as if throwing a drink fest with tv and ipad giveaway raffles is supposed to make up for everything else (what a joke)...
