Severe dishonesty towards clients and staff by management to the point of Staff being harassed by management when staff was unaware of a lie. Management prefers to control information coming and going from the establishment, but fails to inform staff. Management supports a family business and gives them priority over other customers. Always wants the phones answered with a person. Even if it means having multiple phones. Management will page your phone without checking if you are on a call with a client. Phone system will put your call on hold so management can talk. Refusal to follow their own PTO metric. 1st year 1 week of PTO and each year nets another week of PTO. In practice staff received 2 weeks PTO only after 2 full years of work. Annual employee reviews take place 1 year after contract negotiations if management remembers. HR is the owner's girlfriend. Time sheets are scrutinized down to the minute. Management has no concept of current pay scales. Pay scale is 20 years in the past. Forces health insurance enrollment to maintain tax benefits for company. No compensation or understanding for health emergencies. Frequent texts/calls "when will you be back?" in spite of a provided schedule for return. Management is only available to employees 20% of the time. If that. Employee education is discouraged if it means paying for that time. Employees must provide their own vehicle for travel to remote sites.
