Pros

Remote working, good benefits, some good senior hires.

Cons

There was a lot of churn at the top - multiple CEOs in a short time. The strategy was not so cohesive and there was needless cash burn.

Pros

Good people who work hard and are truly trying their best to win.

Cons

The leadership at this company is deeply flawed, characterized by a toxic atmosphere and a striking lack of competence. The CFO, who clings to a rigid, command-and-control mentality reminiscent of the last century, runs the company with an iron fist. His leadership style is not only outdated but also incompatible with the dynamics of a startup or any company. Toxic leaders like him are the antithesis of what a growing company needs to be successful. Employees should be particularly wary—any attempt to challenge him, even indirectly, could result in swift retribution. Terminations are executed with a veneer of subtlety, but the underlying cowardice is evident. The CEO, despite being a decent individual, is ineffectual and lacks the backbone necessary to lead the company in the right direction. His intelligence is overshadowed by an inability to assert himself, making him the weakest CEO I've encountered. The company operates as a collection of fiefdoms, where incompetence and ineffectiveness reign supreme. While there are a few bright spots, the overall culture is one of deception, where it’s difficult to discern genuine colleagues from those with ulterior motives. Human Resources, instead of fostering a supportive work environment, is excessively entangled in managing the fallout from executive misconduct. They are frequently occupied with covering up issues like sexism, racism, and dishonesty—behaviors that have become disturbingly normalized within the organization. One must question how they reconcile their actions with their conscience. In sum, the company prioritizes the interests of its C-suite over the welfare of its employees. After seeing this, do not say you were not warned!
