Working here made me want to kill myself
Pros
Paid better than minimum wage, weekends off (USUALLY), potential for travel. The creative director when I was employed there was awesome.
Cons
ALL management, most of the staff, location (Markham), policies, corporate climate, morale, insane workload, no training. EXTREMELY stressful. They expect you to stay late and come in on weekends despite never being compensated for extra hours. Garbage salary compared to workload and stress level, and employees take the brunt of mistakes of upper management (10-30% pay cuts, lay offs, constant reshuffling of employees). I was laid off after 9 months of employment through which I was overworked and expected to do everyone's job for them including my own ridiculous assignments, with zero training whatsoever. This job seriously made me suicidal and after being let go I went to therapy and started medication in order to become mentally healthy again.
