Pros
I started working here a little over two years ago and I planned to be here only for the summer, but what happened is that I was so impressed with my experience that what I planned to have as "just a job," became my career. I pasted the company's values below. When you visit my team, you will see that these values are posted all over the place. They're not just on the walls, we actually talk about them every day. If you have respect for excellence, you would be a good fit for my team. When I started working here, it took about four months to become very confident and able to perform my work with expertise. By the time I had been here 8 months, I was able to offer training to our newest team members on things like using our software system, stocking your company vehicle, safely using ladders, and other skills. Some of the best parts of the job are the way management views employee development, how solid the training is, the fact that everyone here is really positive and it's a very upbeat workplace. I also moved up very quickly and received four raises within two years. Cons
Days can run long if there are too many wildlife emergencies to respond to. Some days in the peak of the busiest season in the summer can be 12-hour days. You need physical skills, like being able to carry, place, and climb ladders. Safety equipment is provided.
