Pros
Working for ADT is an acceptable entry level sales position. You are provided with some leads and pretty good training. You are given the freedom to work independantly most of the time. I found management to be very helpful and flexible with getting sales closed.
Cons
You are expected to be on call for six days during the week. You are told that you will make a certain amount of money if you hit the easily attainable goal. 90 percent of sales reps do not hit the goal every month. Company provided leads are are actually ones that the telemarketing staff could not close. You are selling something that other companies are giving away for free. You may be required to go door to door. Sales has a very high turnover.
