Pros

I met some cool people that I will be friends with for life.

Cons

Terrible management. Terrible training. TERRIBLE CUSTOMERS. The way you are talked to by these people is the most belittling and demeaning experience you will ever encounter. Turnover rate is 92%. That should automatically tell you the "quality of life" at ADT is terrible. They higher and train fresh classes all the time while pushing out reps that have been there for years in order to save a few dollars per hour per new rep. They trained me in just about everything and promised me a position as a trainer which I was very much looking forward in hopes to better train newcomers. Without telling me they gave my position away while I was still in the position without the pay. Management is a blame game. There is zero accountability amongst "leadership." Everyone points their finger somewhere else. I still know people employed here that are teetering closer and closer each day walking out.

Pros

I've worked for the company for 40+ years, I'm treated with respect and my efforts are recognized by my Director and other ADT leaders. They give me the autonomy to manage my department and value my experience and insight. They offer a solid benefits package. ADT leads by example with their cultural markers and ensures that rules and laws are followed. I love the collaboration I have with our other departments.

Cons

Obviously, we all want more money, especially given the prices of everything, it's always nice to make more money, but I've checked the compensation and benefits in similar positions outside of ADT and I feel ADT is paying a fair wage and when I factor in the benefits package, they are above average in overall compensation.
