The people at AMBOSS are incredibly friendly, approachable, and always willing to help. From day one, you feel welcomed and supported, which makes a huge difference when starting a new role. The onboarding process is smooth, very well-coordinated, and completely transparent. Everything is organized in a way that makes it easy to understand not only your own responsibilities but also how different teams collaborate across the company. The company is structured thoughtfully, and they make sure you’re introduced to each team, their functions, and the people behind them. This helps you quickly get a sense of the bigger picture and how your role contributes to AMBOSS’s mission. The culture is open and collaborative, and communication flows across all levels without unnecessary barriers. Overall, AMBOSS makes the transition into the company seamless and sets you up for success by giving you the right tools, the right context, and the right people to learn from.

Pros

Fun workplace. Travel to different office locations. Fun colleagues. Solid PTO. Office parties, and lots of food and booze!

Cons

Pay! Seriously way underpaid. Also, no bonuses, or equity. Didn’t check your email over the weekend to respond to a client? Slap on the wrist. (Want me to check my emails on a weekend? Pay me more.) No possibility to move up in most roles, unless you’re in engineering or product development. This place is a revolving door. People quit or get fired all the time. I’ve stopped learning new employee’s names. Management here is as diverse as my taste in wines. White and cold.
