Pros
– Amazing Team – Great Culture – Pay is Solid w/ nice EOY Bonus – Rewarding Work – Solid Healthcare When interviewing for the role, I had another offer on the table that paid more, was fully remote and had better benefits, but I ended up signing the contract with AccountAbility. Why? In short; the people. From the CEO, named Sunny, who is such a funny, kind person, down to the fellows who are all so sharp and dedicated, everyone is likable and easy to be around. This is one of the few companies I've found where they've managed to strike a perfect balance between getting things done/achieving great results and creating a culture that doesn't feel stiff and corporate. Everyone is a part of the companies success. Everyones ideas are heard. The company is also poised to see massive growth this year and is hiring new managers and staff members to ensure a balanced workload. I willingly left 7 years of working remote to be a part of this team, and I don't regret it a single day I've been here. One of the best career moves I've made. If you are considering applying, don't hesitate. Forget the Big 4. AccountAbility is where it's at.
Cons
No real cons, but things to consider: –In office at 515 Madison Ave. 4/5 days a week. Fridays are work from home days. –Wearing a suit and tie daily (I actually have enjoyed this as it reflects how seriously we take our work, despite the fun office environment). –Hard work is required. You will have great coaching but you will not be micromanaged and are expected to be in the drivers seat, seeking ways to provide value at all times.
