Pros

Some of the staff there are excellent but have been unfortunate to find themselves at this company. Wasted talent who will excel anywhere else.

Cons

Where to begin. Backwards company claiming to be at the pinnacle of ESG and Consultancy. Outdated working practices and an unbelievably toxic culture driven by two individuals at the top. One very senior manager has to be one of the worst people I ever worked with. Toxic, manipulative and worst of all, totally incompetent - they wouldn't cut it at any other company. This individual has been the direct result of over 50% of the firm leaving in the last three months and more staff in the past too. Do not believe the marketing of the firm as a global firm or one that is successful - a lot of it is made up. Clients have been dropping like flies year on year to the point where staff generally don't know how the firm is still running. The ESG knowledge of the firm is still stuck in the mid 00s - the only reason they can compete is due to the sheer quality of staff below Associate Director level but they only stick around for 6-12 months maximum. All I would say is if you are interested in applying, in the process or have just received a job offer, do NOT move to this firm. Senior leadership wrote the positive reviews on this page due to the rating being so low and wanting to cover up what the firm is truly like.

Terrible Place to Work

Pros

Good experience learning the proposal process and project budgeting. The CEO did work at PwC so there is a sense of professionalism (albeit surface level) that is good to absorb.

Cons

Don't be fooled by AA's over-hyped past as the leader in standards. Because this place has none anymore. Employees are treated like slaves, continuously promised full employment, benefits, etc then are discarded once their initial contract term (trial period) is up. Management is terrible, CEO is a meglomaniac, and any semblance of mentorship evaporates with the constant revolving door. Client work is PwC circa 1990, full of assessments and consultant speak recommendations (complete with bad WordArt graphics). If you have another option, run for the door. If you don't, gather experience, ask questions, establish your boundaries and don't expect to be around for too long.

Pros

No matter what they offer, no matter how charismatic they seem (Sunny will make you feel oh so special!), do not under any circumstances work for this company. Take my word for it now, or give it a shot and remember this as the moment you made a terrible mistake in ignoring it.

Cons

CEO and Director. Two cons.
