Pros

Centrally located. That's about the only advantage about Acero. There once was an abundance of overtime, but that has disappeared.

Cons

There are so many things fundamentally wrong with Acero. Start with the non-communicative, dysfunctional owner. Followed by a long term production manager who has no real world experience in manufacturing and who will do or say anything to make himself look better. Add in employee morale so low it is deficient. And finally factor in false promises and outright lies by ownership and employee turn over that is so extreme it is incomprehensible. Ownership does not have a clue what happens day-to-day. They are fed mis-information and refuse to listen to other sources. This has contributed to the employees dissatisfaction and turn over. Product quality and on-time delivery ate an after thought. You will be outright lied to and not informed. The production manager is a long time employee with no fundamental understanding for his current job position. Additionally his moral compass is broken as he will do and say whatever he needs to make his position look more favorable. Customers are walking away almost as fast as employees. Do yourself a favor and skip this experience.

It is a real stretch to imagine that anyone who actually worked at Acero Precision would make these types of claims and predictions. The only thing we agree with is that the company is located in beautiful West Chester, PA and is easily accessible from Delaware and NJ as well as several surrounding counties right here in Pennsylvania. Facts are important. Here are a few to consider: Leadership absolutely counts and it has a cascading effect on the entire company and how it operates. Our CEO and leadership team directly impacts on the continued growth and success of our “brand” and the positive way we are perceived inside the industry According to the DOL Bureau of Labor Statistics, employee turnover is a challenge throughout the manufacturing industry in the USA. Over time we have made significant progress in maintaining a skilled and empowered workforce. At Acero Precision, we invest as much time into job retention as we do with recruitment. Better pay, better benefits, better PTO just to name a few of the many perks for our employees. Our customers consistently rated us high on satisfaction surveys time and time again. We have not lost a client in the last 10 years and our quality rating and scrap % is just 1.5%. In addition, we are working hard to expand 1st an 2nd shifts and fill production needs for a 3rd shift and weekends. It is standard operating procedure for Acero Precision to make available to the entire Production Team our daily dashboards on Sales/Open Orders/QA tasks and Labor Content. Providing the staff real time data is the only way to operate. No one is being lied to and no one is in the dark. It is not possible for us to be any other way. It is our core. A standard set by our founder and CEO. So we did more than survive – we have succeeded – and will continue to strive to get even better

Pros

I’ve genuinely had a great experience working here. It’s a private, family-owned company, and that really shows in how employees are treated day to day. The culture is welcoming, and the people I work with are not only friendly but also supportive and easy to collaborate with. One thing that really stands out is how much effort ownership puts into making employees feel appreciated. There are thoughtful perks like food trucks, gift cards, a bowling league, and other fun events that break up the routine and make the work environment more enjoyable. It doesn’t feel forced—it actually adds to morale and creates a stronger sense of community. The manufacturing facility itself is state-of-the-art, which makes a big difference in how efficiently and effectively we can do our jobs. The work is also genuinely interesting—we’re involved in medical device manufacturing that helps create products designed to improve people’s lives. It adds a strong sense of purpose, knowing the work we do is important and ultimately helps patients. Overall, it’s a positive place to work where you feel valued, not just as an employee, but as a person. That kind of environment can be hard to find, and it’s a big reason why I enjoy coming to work each day.

Pros

It's a very clean and well organized environment with friendly and uplifting teammates. I feel very heard and understood when I raise concerns or make suggestions for continuous improvement. Any time I have questions, I'm always met with extremely helpful and descriptive responses in a way I can actually understand. The benefits they offer are amazing and there are different tiers to fit everyone's needs. And the company does a phenomenal job at keeping employee spirits high by offering a variety of incentives like little holiday parties and occasional food trucks (very nice bonus!) I feel like there is lots of room for employee growth and a fountain of knowledge I have yet to discover.

Cons

I wasn't a big fan of having to do mandatory weekends twice a month but I made it work and the paycheck is definitely worth it. As much as I don't enjoy wearing a uniform, it does take out the question each morning of what I'm going to wear. The one thing I was very disappointed and confused about is that you're not allowed to have "unnatural" colored hair but it's 100% okay for people with tattoos to have them showing. That seemed a bit unbalanced.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and detailed review of your experience. We’re genuinely glad to hear that your time in the Laser Etch department has been positive, and that you’ve felt supported, heard, and encouraged by your teammates and leaders. Maintaining a clean, well-organized environment and providing clear, helpful communication are priorities for us, so it’s rewarding to see that reflected in your feedback. We’re also pleased that you’ve found value in our benefits program and the various incentives we offer. Creating opportunities for employee engagement—whether through celebrations, food trucks, or team activities—is an important part of our culture, and it’s great to hear that these efforts resonate with you. Regarding your concerns, we appreciate the honest perspective. Weekend work can certainly be challenging, and we recognize the commitment it requires. We’re glad you were able to make it work, and we take this feedback seriously as we continually evaluate how to balance operational needs with employee well-being. We also hear your comments about uniforms and appearance guidelines. These policies are designed to align with customer expectations and industry standards, but your point about fairness and consistency is noted. Suggestions like occasional dress-down days or more flexibility on hair color are helpful, and we will take them forward for internal review. Your input contributes to ongoing conversations about how we can maintain professionalism while also allowing for individual expression. Thank you again for sharing your insights and for contributing to our team. We appreciate your work, your perspective, and the constructive suggestions you’ve offered.
