      Pros

      AFLAC core products are good and they pay all valid claims fast. Advanced commissions and lots of incentives. Depending on you district, pretty good leadership.

      Cons

      AFLAC tends to turn and burn, hiring anyone who can get a license. The result is a overabundance of amateurs burning up the territory giving us all a bad rep.

      Pros

      Freedom to be your own boss, trips, bonuses, renewable income (instead of one time commission), career instead of just a job. FORTUNE 500 and a World's most Ethical Company. Great training (at least here in Wyoming) and a family mentality. Great family/work balance.

      Cons

      No base pay, can be a slow start at first, you have to be very organized and self-driven, have to be licensed in life and health to sell insurance (but my management help with the process).
