Pros
The ITA program has grown as a focal point of the IT department in that leadership wants to invest in young talent. We have had the opportunity to learn without being thrown in a cutthroat IT environment. The leadership does a good job of finding opportunities for young IT professionals to get involved in real work in the company.
Cons
There are certain teams, however, that are so busy they hardly spare the time to teach and train the new ITAs. This can sometimes lead to a disconnect between the newer and older IT generation.
