      Pros

      It's a great company to represent, especially for one who has genuine interest in helping others protect themselves from unknown risks.

      Cons

      Besides what the other reviews have mentioned (commission-only, high learning curve, immense rejection, etc), the main cons are with the management of those running the offices. The office you end up working at makes or breaks you, simply that.

      Pros

      Freedom to be your own boss, trips, bonuses, renewable income (instead of one time commission), career instead of just a job. FORTUNE 500 and a World's most Ethical Company. Great training (at least here in Wyoming) and a family mentality. Great family/work balance.

      Cons

      No base pay, can be a slow start at first, you have to be very organized and self-driven, have to be licensed in life and health to sell insurance (but my management help with the process).
