Pros

they pay is decent and if your night shift you'll get a 13% night shift differential, additionally holidays pay alot. there's a good opportunity to learn, i've had other jobs as a DCT and it seems amazon techs do more than others. your hours are consistent and only work 4x a week 10 hour shifts.

Cons

To the wolves mentality. Little training is provided prior to being able to work tickets. Techs may be knowledgeable but they are not good trainers, expect to ask alot of questions. Some may even get annoyed or irritated. Strong expectations of meeting metrics, as a result people tend to pick up easy tickets to meet metrics.

Pros

Really smart people, a lot of opportunity for growth, always encouraged to be innovative, think big, and create something new. Competitive salary and benefits with other major tech companies. 100% self motivating work environment. No dress code and 4 legged friends are welcome.

Cons

You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
