Pros

-Great colleagues and most supervisors/managers with exceptions of course -Decent enough pay to just about survive and pay your rent if you get direct by Amazon contract after a few months of agency work

Cons

-All 3 shifts are awful. The early shift (6am to 2pm) is perhaps the lesser of 3 evils if you can get up at 4am every day... then at least you get some evenings. Late shift (2pm to 10pm) wastes your entire day, and you have some kind of personal problem if you elect for the night shift. -As a level 1 employee you just feel like a number, a small cog in a big machine... perhaps this is inevitable in places like this? We are only moving boxes after all. -Sites are always far away, for example near airports. Expect a long journey to work. -Career progression is highly competitive, impress you manager enough and he/she can make it easier for you to get an interview otherwise you will likely just get an email to say you are not being considered. The interview is tough and if you don't make it you must wait 6 months to reapply so that 'you have time to develop the necessary improvements'.

Pros

Really smart people, a lot of opportunity for growth, always encouraged to be innovative, think big, and create something new. Competitive salary and benefits with other major tech companies. 100% self motivating work environment. No dress code and 4 legged friends are welcome.

Cons

You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
