Pros
1) The total comp "could" be great. 2) Lots to learn with Technology. 3) Externally people still think you are working for an innovator. 4) Many Lean Principles at work - somehow shows a Continuously Improving company.
Cons
As a consultant: 1) No Trainings - They also hire a lot of non consultants and dont train them - literally setting them up for failure. 2) Sharp Focus on Utilization until you cannot breathe: It is a body shop where they sell you to customers. There comes a point where you cannot learn as you need to work more and more, beyond 40 hours. 3) Toxic Team mates : No Psychological Safety, No Trust or Co-Operating, everyone cares for themselves. Even the onboarding buddy spends 5 minutes with you (because its not his KPI to help you) 4) Confusing Middle Management and Tryant Leaders: There has been lawsuits filed at the Leadership level. You can find it online. 5) Stuck Here: If they bump up your salary high and give you a LOW banded role, then you simply struggle to jump to another organisation. Because your basic is so low (probably lower than your last job) and only total comp looks great. If you are a seasoned consultant - you may like it here. Don't expect information to be as smooth as a Consulting Firm. This is a wannabe consulting firm with big egos since they're "a big cloud company". Dont be mesmerised by thinking youre joining an amazing cloud company. Think deeply about Job Security, Family and Stressors (mental health).
