Consistent work. Can move up in the company gives bonuses and raises on time. Genuinely enjoyed doing the job for over 10 years.
Cons
Long shifts ( you do get used to them but not everyone can work 12 hours) need to do better at making sure raises given actually go through to the employee. And this is 2024 women can work on all plant floors refusing to put them in one plant after hiring them for that position then just bringing them to the other building and showing them a different job is wildly unprofessional. ( Didn't happen to me but someone I personally recommended to get hired for a helper job)
if you can get in good with management the work isn't terrible its about a medium pace. pay is OK.... benefits ok...
Cons
merit increases were minimal. If you were in tight with management or kiss a lot of butt you might get a good raise other than that you are left to the bare minimum increase. People can and will come in starting at higher rates than you.
