The focus on the sales teams at this company is starting, especially from the CEO.
We gave our top sales person a brand new Porche in addition to a very generous commission check, OVER 3 MONTHS before anyone else got a cent of their bonus.
Don't get me wrong, sales are very important, especially at a young public company like Anaplan. But the fauning over our sales people, especially at all hands meetings, while other departments barley get any recognition (if any).
Also there's a lack of clarity around RTO and Compensation for non-sales persons.
Speaking for myself, I'm still doing interesting and challenging work, and thank God I have a really good line manager. But if I didn't have that relationship. I think that I would certainly be on the hunt for a new gig.
