Culture is poor. Leadership's approach to fixing culture is forcing everyone back into the office 5 days a week. Problem with that is the DMV traffic is horrible. It is actually working against them more than it is helping them.
Senior leadership is a revolving door which is leading to a lack of continuity and a disconnect with strategic uncertainty. I was there for 4 years and saw 4 different (technically) CROs and 3 different CMOs. Most of the veterans that lead to the success of Appian have all left. And Sales culture is very much about the numbers and less about the behaviors that drive the numbers.
