Pros
You get to work a lot of events at different places. Some of the people you work with are very nice.
Cons
Rules! Lots of uniform and work rules. I've been asked to stand on a post for 8+ hours before in a stairwell or at a gate. The shifts sometimes are too short or too long. You basically get paid minimum wage. You get more pay at other venues but you can't work there. "Managers" change a lot and it's obvious they have a job because someone likes them or they're related to someone. I had a new boss who had never been at the venue ask me what I do and 3 days later yell at me. Then he was gone and it started all over again. Everything gets blamed on the "client" and it's apparent what matters is that they are happy and pay the company. Some of the clients treat you bad, are mean and clueless. After buying a uniform, paying for badges and name tags and stuff you have to drive somewhere and then you get cut or only work 2 hrs. Worse of all is that you don't get to enjoy or watch the events. You will see managers doing it though.
