Pros

- Fun and young team to work with, great rapport across departments with helpful colleagues - Able to raise concerns with management through frequent one-on-one sessions (could also be a con)

Cons

- One-on-one sessions with management border on intrusive, be prepared for questions asked about your personal life that is completely unrelated to your work or job - Unhealthy and toxic environment; bosses constantly gossip about their employees and even ex-employees to their staff - Bosses undervalue staff with no prior experience and often use this against them - Basic staff benefits such as bonuses and insurance not provided despite the company’s growing success - Employees generally aren’t compensated fairly for the work and hours they put in - Bosses are indecisive and often micromanage; doesn’t fully trust their employees to execute projects independently - Audio and video surveillance in the office not made known to staff - High turnover rate

Pros

Team members are generally capable and committed Colleagues try their best to deliver despite challenges

Cons

Management frequently changes direction after decisions have been communicated, creating confusion and unnecessary rework Expectations are often presented as clear, but later contradicted or reframed, making it difficult to meet moving targets There is a lack of alignment among leadership, resulting in mixed messages to teams Planning is weak, and execution suffers as priorities shift without explanation Employees are expected to adapt to ambiguity without adequate guidance or support

Pros

Flexible WFH hours Great supportive colleagues

Cons

- HR who’s not even stationed in HQ and not familiar with SG HQ’s MOM laws - HR does not advocate for employees - fickle-minded bosses who can’t keep to plans, or plan for that matter—driven by emotions. A lot. - bosses like to jump into a frenzy of exciting new big projects *every year*, undermining the amount of time and effort that goes into working on those projects and think they can always figure it out in-house without trained professionals/consultations or proper planning. Ends up overworking everyone and overspending unnecessarily, and still do not get the desired results. Killing everyone for no good reason and spending what could’ve been good bonuses.
