Pros

- People rock - Exposure to cutting edge stack and chance to work on it if you're lucky - Unlimited PTO - Leadership will scratch your back if you work hard - Opportunity for advancement - $1500 professional development fund, $300 cultural club fund to purchase gear that you'll use to be healthier - The coffee is pretty good, just make sure to refill empty jugs - Ping pong table - Showers and kitchen at work - Discounted climbing gym across street - Competitive pay at senior level

Cons

- Revolving door in engineering - Weak compensation/benefits at junior/low-mid engineer level - Heavy corporate influence - Chasm in Engineering. There are some who have bought in and some who are coasting. Probably 60/40. If you are lucky enough to be surrounded by the former group then it is an exciting place to work - Legacy software everywhere that can make your job tedious. Actions are taking place to address this quickly however

We are psyched about our new tech stack, and we hear you – sometimes it’s rough working with legacy stacks. We are working on modernizing so our engineers can play in the tech stack that brought them here. We want to create a culture where coming to work is fun place – pancake breakfasts, group runs, ping pong matches, nerf guns. What we have come to realize is that “perks” don’t always equal employee satisfaction. We are creating a high performance culture where we can empower and reward employees to bring their “A” game. Please continue to provide your feedback, both positive and constructive to help make us better. I like the Peanut Butter Pretzels too.
