Pros

The conversations are enjoyable in the office

Cons

I worked at AutogenAI for a little over a year, and it was one of the most toxic companies I've experienced. The strong blame culture here stifles productivity—teamwork is undermined by constant finger-pointing and borderline bullying. People often fear stepping up due to the likelihood of backlash. Leadership is unapproachable and dismissive, which makes improving the culture feel impossible. There's little to no direction from senior management, with decisions frequently delayed or avoided altogether. The company’s direction changes so frequently that employees feel unanchored and frustrated. No matter how hard you work, it never seems to be enough, leaving morale low and employees feeling undervalued. Favoritism is also a problem. Some employees coast by while others face disproportionate scrutiny and obstacles, especially if they aren't in the "favored" circles. My time at AutogenAI was demoralising, and I left feeling inadequate—so much so that I now worry I’m not good enough for roles I apply for.

Pros

AutogenAI is going through a period of tremendous growth. The opportunities are limitless. We have the right people, the right brainpower, and the right mindset to be the next unicorn. No day is ever the same, Everyday there’s something new, challenging and fun to tackle. That’s what I love about it, I love being part of this.

Cons

Startups aren’t for everyone and AutogenAI isn’t for everyone. The company only hires the best and has very high expectations. Not a con to most, but to some people it is.

Pros

I enjoyed being in AI and learned a lot. Great colleagues. I really felt like we were building something special until the mass layoffs in October.

Cons

- Management ignored the competition, all of which are now light years ahead. - Management ignored the importance of culture. - Management has never worked in a SaaS before and it shows in every decision made.
