Pros
Save as you earn share schemes pretty good.
Cons
I’m not sure where to start, I agree with most the poor rated GD reviews on here, the culture has shifted over the last few years for the worst, once a great place to work but now its dreadful , the work load you are expected to deal with is ridiculous, and if you like be super micro managed then this is the job for you, the middle management will peck you to death and make your time at work as miserable as possible, the pay rises are terrible here around 3% so not even in line with inflation while the top jobs give themselves 130% wage rises, there is the free share schemes which is how the justify a poor wage increase but you need to wait 3 years for the benefit and it’s mostly been wiped out by the steep decline in share price. Company moral is at an all time low, nearly everyone I speak to has had enough and are actively looking for a new employer, there has already been some great people leaving and Im afraid we will see a whole lot more over the next few months. So to sum up if you enjoy lower pay, work loads to make your eyes water, no thanks from the middle management and no acknowledgment from senior leadership then Autotrader could be the place for you.
